Sorry

Today Rae was eating beefaroni for lunch, she was dressed in a nicer outfit because we were supposed to be going to a birthday paty.  I had put a bib on her (which she absolutely hates) and she had taken it off while I was turned around.  When I turned to look at her, she had of course spilled food all over her shirt, I raised my voice at her, and she out her head down and said "sorry Mama" It is the first time she has said sorry without being told to say sorry.  It was so sweet, like I said, she makes my heart melt!

Life with two kids...

Tonight was a perfect example of my chaotic life. Matt and I were doing a charity bowling event and the girls were going with us, we should of known better. Addie is fine, for the most part she can sit and color and entertain herself. I did say for the most part, at one point she was running around and ran straight into a chair and started bawling hysterically, thankfully it happened towards the end. Then there is Raegan, running around, falling down lanes, stealing candy from 8 year olds, screaming, sticking her hands in every vending/candy machine, more screaming and crying, wanting to be held, then kicking because she wants down, I could go on and on. The terrible twos have been here for awhile, everytime I think it's getting better, the next day it is worse. Don't get me wrong, I love her to death, she makes my heart melt, but she drives me absolutely insane!

So, lesson learned, Raegan is still not ready to be in a public place unless it is 100% child friendly. Pretty sure I learned this two weeks ago though when we tried to take her out to dinner with us, so hopefully it sticks this time!

I don't know...

So, tonight at dinner I was talking with Raegan, her "talking" has been getting noticeably better by the day over the last two weeks.  I asked her who she always asks for every time she wakes up, and even though I know she knows the right answer (which is Mommy, Addie and Daddy, in that order, everyday) she clearly said "I don't know" while she held her hands out and shrugged her shoulders.  Matt and I were both completely shocked by it!  I just love watching and hearing all her milestones!

My First Blog...

I have decided to start blogging all of my little memories and stories that happen on a daily basis with the girls.  I have been trying to write letters to the girls on a regular basis about what is new in their lives and share stories about what they do, but I have found that my hand gets tired, and I don't ever keep up.  The last thing I wrote was in January, and I am always trying to play catch up, so I figure this might be a better option for me, since I'm always near a computer!  I feel a little lost at the moment, but I am sure I will figure it out at some point!
